After catching up on their weeks and laughing about a specific targeted ad that appeared in front of the "Dennis the Menace" episode last week that none of the elves would have willingly put in front of it, the four hosts travel back in time to the nineties to discuss the Chrismukkah episodes of, "The Nanny"!

If you'd like to follow along, the entire series is available to stream on "Max" and the episodes covered are:

After a brief hiatus, the elves are back (before we take another brief hiatus!) and excited to talk all things Christmas! Join them as they cover the 1998, made-for-TV film, "Richie Rich's Christmas Wish" - a movie they are completely baffled by given some of the talent involved, and a movie that made Thom jokingly bring up ending the show!

Also covered this week - new Christmas movies expected later this year; "Beetlejuice 2"; "Ruined!"; the plethora of 'Ber Months Patreon that is already being recorded and scheduled; TV talk; and life in general! Side Note - Like with yesterday's bonus Mother's Day episode (which you need to make sure to check out if you haven't yet!), Anthony's audio is a little wonky once again. We're working on getting that fixed so it doesn't happen going forward! Thanks for understanding!

326: Recasting the ”Harry Potter” Movies in a [HBO] Max’s Television Remake!

Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics!

Due to the elves' busy work schedules, we couldn't get a new episode recorded this week! But never fear! We have a timely, once patreon-exclusive episode dropping for you!

This past week, [HBO] Max confirmed they are moving forward with a television adaptation of the "Harry Potter" books, adapting one book per season and producing all seven seasons over the course of a decade! Naturally, this elicited a lot of excitement online, and fan-casting has been running rampant!

Well, back in February, when rumors of a potential "Harry Potter" remake began swirling around, Julia, Thom, and Anthony gathered to recast the main adult characters in the series for the then hypothetical series!

We know what you're thinking! Could anyone ever possibly top Alan Rickman as Snape, Dame Maggie Smith as Professor McGonagall, or any of the other incredible, British alumni that were part of the original cast? Probably not. But, we do our best to cast excellent actors and actresses in their own right to follow in those iconic footsteps, adhering slightly closer to the descriptions, personalities, and age ranges as established in J.K. Rowling's beloved book series. The only limitations we set for ourselves were: we couldn't choose the same actor for a role they played previously; and we wouldn't limit ourselves to British thespians. The result? Three very different, but equally as fun, fan-cast lists that we think you'll all enjoy!

So, settle back and enjoy this super fun blast from the recent past you want to be sure not to miss! As always, thanks for your love and support! We love y'all! 🎅🏻🎄🎁 🦌🦉⛄️🔔🚂 🤶🏻 🎀 ❄️

325: Simply Having A Wonderful Christmastime. (Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Movie [1998])

Happy Monday, Christmas fanatics! We hope you all had a wonderful Easter and hope that the Easter Bunny was good to you all!

This week, Julia, Anthony, and the effervescent Natalie Bickel (that's right, Thom is M.I.A. this week due to dad duties) travel to the north pole to visit the most famous reindeer of all and discuss his 1998, theatrically released film, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Movie"!

Does the '90's animation style inject enough nostalgia into the three hosts to make up for the fact that this film has all but disappeared in recent years? How does it fare against the iconic 1964, Rankin/Bass special in their minds, and how does it differ in terms of story? And what exactly has that Busy Bee, Natalie Bickel, been up to since the last time she appeared on the show? All of these answers, and much more, are divulged in this week's episode!

So, settle in and relax because "the mood is right, the spirit's up, we're here tonight, and that's enough" to inject this Mid-April Monday with some much needed Christmas cheer! Enjoy, y'all! As always, thanks for your love and support! 🎅🏻🎄🎁 🦌🦉⛄️🔔🚂 🤶🏻 🎀 ❄️
